MCFRS is planning to accept applications between May 1st and May 17th, 2013, for the position of Firefighter/Rescuer I (Recruit). On February 20, 2003, 211 Cowesett Ave was hosting the rock band Great White. Among the 462 in attendance was Brian Butler. With his camera rolling at 23:07:52 hrs, four pyrotechnics capable of sending sparks 15’ high were activated. Seven seconds later flames are seen on the wall behind the band. On January 23, 2005, a fire was reported on the 3rd floor of an apartment building at E178st in the Bronx. Arriving first at 0803hrs, Engine 42 took side A and began advancing a line to the third floor where Ladder 33 forced and held the door in preparation of the engine company. Wednesday, October 31, 2012  Halloween 2001 started out with a 2nd alarm vacant house fire in Swatara Township early in the morning. Crew's wen't deffensive with big lines and were out a few hours with the first job. The 2nd job was a 3rd alarm row home fire on South 18th St in Harrisburg City. While units were tied up on that job transfer units and local units made a grab on Walnut Street in Susquehanna Township at a room and contents job. This was another bitter cold Halloween Day full of tricks and 3 treats!
