FOUR ALARM FIRE IN JOHNSTOWN, PA

     

Monday, July 2, 2012 1525  This afternoon at 1525 hrs Cambria County Communications Dispatched the City of Johnstown, Local 463 to a reported structure fire.  As companies were responding additional 911 calls were received reporting multiple houses on fire and one roof gone.  36 OIC arrived confirming the reports and requested the 2nd alarm at 1531 bringing off duty firemen to the scene.  As the City crews were working command requested additional equipment from Richland Township Volunteer and West Hills Volunteer Fire Departments.  Both companies responded with their respected ladder trucks and were assigned to fire operation duties.  All units were still working the scene at 1700 hrs.  Station 35, West End EMS has Rehab with 35 Commander as Rehab Command.
