Monday, April 9, 2012 1300 Today around 1300 hours units from Halifax and numerous mutual aid companies were dispatched to Halifax’s first due for a reported fire at the base of Peters Mountain. Multiple Forest Fire crews, brush units and manpower from around the area are all currently working this serious fire. Mobile Command stations have been established and crews will be digging in for the night due to the strong winds and very dry conditions!
