Once again Firefighters from all over the world converged on
New York City for the 250th annual St. Patrick’s day parade. The
morning started with having breakfast with firefighters from as far away as
Germany and Ireland as well as others. The city showed these fireman
hospitality that is second to none. I am glad to say that once again I was in
that Company. The FDNY extended us every type of hospitality they could. I am
always blown away by the lengths that the members of the department go to make
sure their visitors have a great time. This year was no exception with PERFECT
marching weather complimenting their efforts. Thank you once again New York
City, the FDNY and all who celebrated this year’s St. Patrick’s day, night and
following morning with us. Engine 37 ladder 40 you are the best.
